Our Beliefs Beliefs
- We believe there is one eternal God over all existing as the Father who reveals himself through Jesus, his Son, and his Spirit. Isaiah 40:28; John 17:3; 1 Corinthians 2; Hebrews 1.
- We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and is infallible and inerrant in the original autographs. Ps 19: 8; Mt 5: 17-19; 22: 37-40; Lu 24: 27,44; Jn 1: 45; 5: 46; 17: 17; Ac 17: 2-11; Ro 1: 2; 15: 4.8; Ro16: 28; 2Co 1: 20; Ga1: 8; Ep 2: 15-16; 1 Ti 2: 5; 2 Ti 3: 15-17; He 4: 12; 10: 11; 11: 34; Ja 1: 21-22, 1 Pe 1: 23; 2 Pe 1: 19-21; 1 Jn 2: 3-7; Ap 22: 18-19
- We believe that one Savior, Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, the Supreme Head of the Church, is redeemed unto God by His blood. God used the virgin Mary to give birth to Jesus, who died on the cross for the lost sheep of God, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He now sits at the right hand of God in heaven from whence He is coming again to receive the Church as His bride. Mt 3: 16-17; 11: 27; 16: 28; 27: 62-67; 28: 5-9; 16: 17; Mk 10: 47; 15: 16; 6: 7; Lu 1: 27; 31: 37; Jn 1: 1; 14: 18; 3: 16-17; Ro 5: 10; 10: 10-18; 34: 8; 14: 9 ;1 Co 15: 3-8, 14, 2Co 5: 18-19; Ga 1: 4; 2: 20; Ep 4: 4-5. 5: 2; 1 Ti 1: 15; He 2: 17; 7: 27; 9: 14, 28; 10: 12; 13: 20; 1 Pe 2: 24; I Jn 2: 2; 4: 14
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is the operating agent in the redemption of God's chosen people, the superintendent of the Church, and the abiding Comforter of the children of God. Jb 33: 4; Mt 28: 19; Jn 4: 24; 14: 16-17; 15: 26; 16: 13-14; Ac 5: 3-4; Ro 8: 9; 3: 17; 2Co Ga 4: 6
- We believe God created man in his image and likeness, but through transgression, he fell and became depraved in nature and sinful in conduct. Ge 6: 5; 8: 21; Ps 51: 5; Is 64: 6; I. 17: 9; Mk 7: 21; Jn 7: 17; Ro 3: 10-12; 5: 12-21; 1Co 15: 22; Ep 2: 1-3; 1Ti 2: 5; Tit 3: 5; He 11: 6; Ap 22: 17.
- We believe that Salvation is by faith alone in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Is 52: 13; 53: 12; Lu 24: 46-47; Jn 3: 16; Ac 3: 18; Ac 4: 12; Ro 3: 20-26; 5: 8-11, 13: 18-20; 7: 7; 8: 34; 1Co 6: 11; 15: 22; Ga 2: 16, 3: 2-3; Ep 1: 7; 2: 13-16; 1Ti. 2: 5-6; He 7:23-27; 9: 11-15; 24: 28; 10: 14; 1Jn 2: 2; 4: 10.
- We believe that regeneration is the act of the Holy Spirit whereby the penitent, trusting sinner is renewed in nature, changed in conduct, and brought into the family of God. John 3:6; 2 Co 5:17; Eph 2:10; Ro 6:4-6; Col. 3; Titus 3:1-11
- We believe there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the saved and unsaved, the redeemed people to eternal bliss in God's presence, and the unsaved to everlasting damnation in the lake of fire. Jb 19: 25-27; Da12: 2; Mt 22: 30-32; Mt 28: 1-20; Lu 14: 14; 24: 1-53; Jn 5: 28-29; 11: 21-27, 14: 1-3; Ro: 14: 10; 1Co 15: 52-55; 2Co. 5: 10; Ap 20: 12-13; 21: 8; 1Th. 4: 13-17
- We believe in the biblical doctrine of healing and recommend the intercession of the prayers of faith for healing the sick. Ja 5: 14-16; Lu 9: 2; 10: 9; Ac 4: 10-14
- We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. His return inspires us to live in holiness, encourages us to evangelize the world passionately, and is a way of encouragement for the children of God to wait for the return of Christ with hope. When Jesus returns, or if we die before his return, we will joyfully participate in his glory in the Kingdom that he has prepared before the foundation of the world. Dan 7: 13-14; Mt 24: 30-31; Ac. 1: 11; 1Th. 4: 15-17; 1 Jn 3: 1-10; Ap 22: 20; 1: 7; Tit 2: 11-14; He 9: 27-28; Ja 5: 7-8; 2 Pe 3: 1-14
